Hey everyone; So I went to try Nehrim for the first time today and was saddened that it uses the same config files as Oblivion! (specifically Oblivion.ini and Plugins.txt)
This annoyed me immensely, so I fixed it. Attached is a small patch created using XDelta3 (http://code.google.com/p/xdelta/)

EDIT: GO TO BOTTOM

OLD STUFF
[+]
All this patch does is replace Oblivion.ini with Nehrimcf.ini and Plugins.txt with Nehrimp.txt.
In order to use it you simply do Please note that this doesn't make a backup which is why I have the files named .ori.exe (.ori signifying the original).
It won't overwrite however unless you force it to (using -f) so you "don't" have to worry (I think).
Oblivion will now read Nehrimcf.ini instead of Oblivion.ini and it will read Nehrimp.txt instead of Plugins.txt.
The only issue still remaining is that the launcher still goes after Oblivion.ini and Plugins.txt.
Because of this you have to go and rename them yourself afterwards.
I would have made a patch for the launcher too but it seems the strings are encoded (at least I can't seem to find the references).

EDIT: It seems for some reason that strings in the launcher are encoded in both ANSI and Unicode (one or the other).
After realizing this I made a patch for the launcher as well...
Please note that this WILL BREAK compatability with OBMM, WryeBash, BOSS, and any other program that specifically looks for the Nehrim CFG files.
(standard oblivion will still work fine).
EDIT2: I might change these in the future to change the directory rather than the files (So Nehrim would have it's own directory rather than Oblivion)
EDIT3: I updated the patches so instead of changing the files that are created they simply change the directories.
NehrimFE will be used instead of Oblivion (where applicable in relation to the directories).
If you wish to use OBSE with this patch you need to open up the source code and add the crc 'A905C71C' to the accepted list for 1.2.0.416, recompiling afterwards.

XDelta3 (http://code.google.com/p/xdelta/)
In order to use the patches open up cmd and do
xdelta3 -d -s oblivion.ori.exe nehrim-oblivion.exe.vcdiff oblivion.exe
xdelta3 -d -s NehrimLauncher.ori.exe NehrimLauncher.exe.vcdiff NehrimLauncher.exe

Hey mate,

Applied the patches, and then when I open the Launcher and click Data Files it throws up an error.

If I ignore the error it shows 0 data files listed, did I do something wrong or am I forgetting to do somethinhg, or is it just not working with the latest version?
