I just installed the game. I am running everything in admin mode. I have already verified the game flies with steam 3 times and it gives an all clear. Turned off all my antivirus and such. When I go to launch Enderal from the launcher it instead redirects me to an install Skyrim prompt from steam. Anyone know what is happening?

hi, welcome to the forum

try to delete the two *.ini from (...\Documents\My Games\Enderal);
(the game will create new ones on launch)
and restart the game (via Steam -> launcher, don't use shortcuts please)

you could also check the paths in Data/SKSE/Plugins/SkyrimRedirector.ini,
they should point to the aforementioned ini files.

if it doesn't work, please attach the launcher.log from ...\Enderal\Enderallauncher\system\log.

So I tried all that and still no go. I can't find a SkyrimRedirector.ini only a SkyrimRedirector.dll. I have attached the launcher log.

I do not have SkyrimRedirector.log. Only a SkyrimRedirector.dll that I cannot upload.

That should not be

- Could you check, if there's a write protection on the Enderal Folder?
- “Controlled File Access” might also block. Disable it or whithelist the game folder.

That did it. The folder was set as read-only. Flicked it off and it worked. Thank you!

your answer over there makes it sound as if you're already playing

if the launcher suddenly launches Skyrim instead of Enderal, please upload the SkyrimRedirector.log from Data/SKSE/Plugins/
