The patch fixed the issue. I cast the spell before going in the house, and then it disappeared from my spell inventory. Previously, it never left my inventory as I could cast it endlessly.

Okay, So I probably screwed things up royally with this quest. Here is my huge problem.

The game has been great until I made my way down the Ayleid ruin backdoor to the Ostian temple to poison some guards. There is a glowing door with symbols and I'm supposed ...

Not that you would agree with me, but the crystal was in a rather random place. It seemed like a last minute decision on where it was placed. Maybe you could make it a puzzle to find.

Other than that, I haven't had any major issues.

I have found some weird things though:

1: A missing ceiling ...

Well, I do not remember the exact dialogue. Something like "I need the crystals we've found to pass through." He didn't say how...obviously it would not have been a puzzle otherwise.

I do not remember him saying anything more than that though.

Funny you should mention that, I killed them and looted their bodies thinking they had some key I missed.

I really hate to restart from a very old save state (assault on the Sanctuary after the trip to Arktwend).
