I'm stuck at the part where we need to put the two crystals in their holders. I tried just throwing my crystal down to him, but nothing happened. Then I looked on the walkthrough on the nehrim wiki, and it says that is exactly what you are supposed to do. But when I tried throwing it down, he didn't come to pick it up or anything. I also tried reloading a save and trying again, but got the same result. Any ideas?
First, did you wait for him to tell you to throw him the crystal? If you throw it too soon, it probably doesn't work. Also, did you drop it and then pick it up with the Z-key, or drop it with shift/left click? I think I've done it both ways, but maybe one is easier. Also, you have to be standing at the edge of the balcony (I think where it is damaged, if I remember correctly). Also, if I recall, it takes him a few seconds to walk over and get it after you drop it.
