Hi!
Just starting my Nehrim adventure. I get XP and level ups, but skills also level when I use them like vanilla Oblivion. Is this correct?

I've installed Nehrim on a fresh Oblivion install.

You mean skills increase when you use them? It's normal, but ,as far as I noticed, they increase much slower than in Oblivion.

I thought I could only increase skills by using level points. No problem them!
