Nehrim seems like a great game . That is if I could play it I don't know why but every time i start the game and click new game it loads but before it can actually get into the game it crashes to my desktop I've read the readme and have everything installed correctly (hopefully). Yet it always does that I have a 64 bit operator with windows 7 home premium. Help would be appreciated. I reposted this in the support section as suggested I do so from another helpful member.

I notice that you wrote you are not sure if you installed everything correctly. There is one guide for installation written by Taltamir (really detailed and with pictures):

Just to make things clear- you're not using any other mods ?

i have a 64bit windows home premium setup as well. however, i had no issues at all. works fine, better than oblivion... well, most of the time that is.
so don't know what your issue might be. other than the basic: what file path did you install nehrim into?

and the "are any vanilla oblivion esm or esp files still selected in the data menu on the launcher?"

their are no other mods active in my data files and I only activated the needed esm/esp's I'll take a look at that guide thanks.
