This patch includes all previous patches!
The patch can be downloaded in two ways:
- 1: Automatically using the Nehrim launcher. In order to be able to obtain the patch this way, you must make sure that the automatical search for updates is activated in your Nehrim launcher: Click on the "arrow" button to the right of the (greyed-out) "Update" button of your Nehrim launcher, and tick on the "search for servers and updates (not) active" field. Then your Nehrim launcher will automatically look for and download Nehrim patches (but install them only with your consent).
2: Manually by downloading it from the downloads section of the Nehrim website.

The installer is in GERMAN. Also, when you point it to your Nehrim folder, it STILL wrongly says that it is the incorrect folder and no Oblivion.exe can be found.
And also like the previous patch, it will not run the launcher when you select 'Run Launcher'.
SETUP.exe and Nehrimlauncher.exe just sit there in memory waiting for me to come and kill them with ProcessExplorer.

Do you have Nehrim installed in a UAC-controlled folder, like C:\Program Files (x86) ?
Did you try starting everything as administrator?
As for the language issue, we'll look into that.

Installer language bug fixed.
Glad to see you still supporting this incredible game!
just one question: does this work on the STEAM version of nehrim also?
EDIT: It works on the STEAM version - I just used the stand-alone installer and pointed it at my "oblivion" folder located in my steamapps folder.

Great! Thanks for supporting this excellent game!
I downloaded and applied this new update. Prior to that, I was using the following mods:
Nehrim_English_Hotfixes_v0.1 (ASTnehrimHotfixes01(EN).esp)
Nehrim_Minor_Text_English_Translation (NehrimTEMP_ENGRISH_TEXT.esp)
Nehrim_Interface_Extension
Does the newest Nehrim EN Update supersede any of the mopds above listed? Are they still needed to play English Nehrim?
EDIT: There are still some messages in German, even using the mods above listed. I got a German messagem when my breath falls below 25% (when I'm underwater) and a component (I think it was one of the spider silks) had your magic property changed to MüRsal or something like that.
Thanks !
Henrique

I tend to think NehrimTEMP_ENGRISH_TEXT.esp is not necessary anymore (there are still some German texts, but they are too new to be covered by the old Engrish ESP), but I am not sure. I might tell you more if you upload the ESPs here.
And how can I upload the .esp here???
Anyway, just in case I can't upload it here, I've downloaded it from
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34692
Thanks!

If it's from September 2010, it is probably useless as for now.

Sorry for my dumbness, but I didn't understand what you mean!!
I have to note something:
since upgrading to 1.1.1.0 and then to 1.1.1.1 - thee game has almost no crashes to desktop - thank you for that!

PS. I wrote in the old "new patch" thread about helping out with translating, I mailed Dagon about it but to no avail.
Hoxyd, is there any way that the community (or I) can help you with translating / doing things that need doing to get the next (EN) versions out quicker?
Cheers!
Daniel: At the moment there isn't anything to be translated, but we will get back to you when we need a translator once again!
Lord Dagon seems to be busy these days (looooong response times).

I think there is some translation needed in some places. Nothing that hurts/breaks the game, but it is needed anyway.
First of all: I've already applied the new EN Patch (v 1.1.1.1) and even so, some minor German text still does appear.
Second of all: I've only been around Giliad and Sanctum vicinities, so I can't tell you if another German texts will appear in other areas.
1) When my character levels up, the icon is displayed in rigth upper corner of the screen and some German text appear in left upper corner. I am almost sure this is a message telling the character just leveled up. No big problems here, I can live with that;
2) There is a post on Gilliad board that (when clicked on) tells about someone named Sven. The accompanying text is in German, I do recognize the name Sven but I didn't care to google-translate it because I chose to do some Sanctum quests before. When I return to Gilliad area to do more bounty quests I will google-translate it.
PS.: After applying the newest EN patch, I unchecked the NehrimTEMP_ENGRISH_TEXT.esp as I was told this mod is from September/2010 and it wouldn't be needed anymore (as the newest patch is from February/2011).
Thanks!
Henrique
Thanks for the info.
ad 1) What exactly does the text say? It shouldn't be happening, the stuff is translated...
ad 2) It is an easter egg, irrelevant even to the bounty quest.

2) It would be great if we (non-german speakers) could have this easter egg translated as well!
Again I ask: shall I use NehrimTEMP_Engrish.esp mod or not?
Thanks!
Henrique
From all that I know, you shouldn't. As of 1.1.1.0, it hurts more than it helps.

To everyone here, especially arvisrend and the team responsible for translating Nehrim to English.
I've uploaded a jpg picture containing the german text which appears when my character levels up. The 4shared link is:

I've found another german text, this time it is written on a note found on a corpse in Zardoth Cave (en route to Sildren). The 4shared link is:

Regarding the Giliad board containing the "Sven-related message" I didn't take a screenshot of it.
Again, I am sending these screenshots to this list not to criticize, but because I want to contribute (somehow) to the team tasked to translate Nehrim. It is a very well-designed mod, a marvelous work, a great game indeed.
Thanks!
Henrique.
