Hi guys!
This game looks awesome and I can't wait to start playing.
I have the GOTY edition of Oblivion with SI and Knights installed. My Oblivion Game file version is 1.2.0.416 (checking under Oblivion.exe Properties) NOT the steam version
I installed Nehrim onto the C:\Nehrim
I have checked the load order is Nehrim.esm, NehrimData.esp, NehrimEnglish.esm.

My problem is that each time I click "Start Nehrim" I get a message saying that it can't find the Oblivion CD
I thought that I did not need to have the Oblivion CD inserted in the disc drive to play Nehrim.
Do I need the Oblivion CD to play Nehrim?

Yes, you need it. It's still the Oblivion engine running, and no, we didn't supply a noCD crack .

With vanilla Oblivion you could just copy the DVD and it would run just as well as the original, so if you are worried about the DVD breaking in your drive, this is an easy way. The intertubes say this doesn't work with the GoTY anymore, unfortunately.

I also have GOTY edition of Oblivion and I didn't have any problems with Nehrim installation.
However, the GOTY eidtion did cause some problems previously... while I was trying to install Oblivion I got a message that the CD was missing and I should put an original disc into my CD drive... Took a few hours from my husband's life to finally install it. And it happened accidentally... he was just giving it another try and suddenly it started detecting the CD.

Hi.

I use nocd cracks on all the games I play (if I can find one), thats because was fed up with scratched discs, noisy dvd drive and constantly changing cd to play another game.
Try gameburnworld or gamecopyworld.

I usually prefer VirtualDVD drives and Disc images. It takes a lot more space, and sometimes doesnt work, but cracks cause problems so often. Youll have to see for yourself which is more suitable.

Totally agree.
Always, always check for viruses and any other suspicious packets. Plus, if you use a crack, copy and save original exe files.
