Hey, signed up to this forum to report this problem because I can't seem to find any information on it, am I the only one for whom the installer will not run? I have downloaded it twice from two different locations (torrent and moddb.com), when I double click on either file, nothing happens, occasionally the computer will freeze. I've tried running it from my Desktop, download file etc, as administrator, compatibility mode, still nothing. I have Windows Vista 32-bit and Oblivion GOTY. Any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks!

Try giving it some time.Some users reported that they had to wait up to a few minutes before the installer package extracted itself and started up. You could also try to disable your antivirus-software, that should speed up the start of the installation.

I'm having this same problem. I chose to download the Installer files to my desktop and then ran the Installer as an Administrator in Vista - (I downloaded the first from fileshack and then my current one from fileplanet) - Both files which are obviously the same immediately bring up the loading symbol on my desktop. I assume this means its extracting the files in the background but I left it running for several minutes and nothing.

Today I did the same steps but going to elt it extract while Im at work (roughly 4 hours) so if the Installer doesn't come up by then I was wondering if anyone else had some suggestions on what might be the issue.

Nevermind it took a while but my roommate confirmed it came up while I was at work - Thank you!
