When i start the game and click on New Game i get the video and stuff
then there is the character creation and thats my problem. i see the bars and the race's choosing window on the left but i dont see the character or the background.

at first i thought it was just a glitch so i just click next/accept. So the game starts and i hear all the voices i get the quest pop up window but i still dont see anything it's just black.

so i thought maybe i need a torch cause the pop up said i dropped it in the story so when i click TAB, i do get the window where i can see my character and everything but i dont see the game itself even after i eqquiped the torch.

does anyone know what to do???

Do you have an Nvidia card? There is a fix out there for nvidia. It is also a good idea to launch the game via the launcher and make sure to try the various settings. Several people have better luck disabling HDR and going with bloom. You could try that. Also make sure all of the Oblvion files are completely disabled in the Nehrim launcher. You should just have the 3 Nehrim-related esm/esps.

No problem. I know how much of a pain it is to download something awesome and then not be able to play.

I had the same feeling .. with the installer.. i was impatient . i didnt know you had to leave it 10 mins before it works. and i kept clicking on it , till the old pc gave in.

And then with the downloading of the installer.. whereas the torrent was slow and all overs were broke..
