I just installed Nehrim and every time I try to load it, it crashes at the loading screen after I try to start a new game. I'm running windows 7 on an Asus U50F series laptop if that helps at all.

Well, going by what made that happen in the original oblivion, i'd say you have some undupported esp/esm etc files. try to usethe nehrim mod managed and make sure all mods from oblivion are disabled, and only the obivion esm/herim esm/esp files are activated.

I check to ensure that only those files were being loaded as well as even reinstalling both Oblivion and Nehrim but I'm still have this problem. My load order is:

Oblivion.esm
Nehrim.esm
NehrimData.esp
NehrimEnglish.esp

Do I need to change this at all?

Yes. NO Oblivion.esm please.

Still no luck. I will try re-downloading it sometime and try to re-install it again and give an update on if this fixed the problem or not.
