Nehrim installed perfectly fine, all worked well. When i goto click "start a new game", and then "yes" nothing happens and it simply just takes me back to the main menu.

Now before you ask, I HAVE ALREADY went into nehrim launcher and checked all the appropriate boxes and unchecked the oblivion related ones. I DO have oblivion, and the latest oblivion patch installed already. But still i cannot start a new game. And YES I HAVE read the "read me" top to bottom. I do not mean to be rude, but i have made sure the boxes, launcher and patches are all correct so im looking for anything else that can help :/

If anyone can help me out id really appreciate, this game looks awesome and i cant wait to to dive in.

What Nehrim modules did you check? You only need NehrimData and NehrimEnglish checked. I had the same issue, did that and it worked fine. My only issue now is that I can't more at start, used no clip to get out of the 'stuck' area and was moving INCREDIBLY slow. As if I was over-encumbered.

You also need Nehrim.esm

Load order:
Nehrim.esm
NehrimData.esp
NehrimEnglish.esp

And Nehrim.esm is better at the very top of the list, otherwise there can also be problems.

Have you equipped the torch in your inventory?

... what torch? There is a spell called torch, but no physical object that I can equip.

EDIT: Correction, there is a torch. I simply didn't see it in the inventory because I'm not used to the layout. NOW, however, when I activated.. I saw some dude with a giant yellow box with an ! in the center of it.

Also, subtitles are going so fast I can't read what he said.

It seems the installer could not locate the BSA files in the Oblivion folder. Either Windows UAC stopped it from finding them, or you have moved your Oblivion folder and forgot to change the path in the registry. Best to reinstall Oblivion and then Nehrim.

What.. it was a fresh install. Fully updated. I didn't move anything and UAC is disabled.
