I just installed Nehrim today and after I started it, I couldn't start a new game. I checked online and fixed that, but now when I start a new game, the text is very large and the race "Half-Aeterna" is an error. Also, there was another error when I finished the character creation screen.

Sounds like you have overwritten nehrim-files with original oblivion-files. that would explain the different menu style and aeterna-errors, because that race doesn' t exist in oblivion. What did you do to get the game to start?

I just downloaded and installed Nehrim, then updated Oblivion. After that, I started up Nehrim and it gave me those errors.

i think you have to update oblivion BEFORE you install nehrim.

Try reinstalling nehrim!
