So I'm playing through Enderal again to get the different ending and I realize I didn't even get the mysterious key from the stongbox. I mean it's not even there. It only has the diary. Can I get an ID code of the key to start the quest or what?

Could you upload a suitable savegame please?
Found in ...\Documents\My Games\Enderal\Saves, we'll need the skse and the ess of a manual (no quick- or auto-) save.
Pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here

You obviously use a save that was created before Enderal FS.
So probably from your first run.
A corresponding note should have appeared when loading.
This can cause serious mistakes.
For Enderal FS you have to start a completely new game!
It does not help you to use a cheat now.
There will certainly be more errors.

You can also upload your launcher.log
