Problem with the Audio
Post by Feutor »
I play the English version of Enderal, I set my settings to a endurable volume but once a cutscene starts it either resets or just doesn't give a damm about my setting and shit is way too loud. I cannot skip these cutscenes as well which forces me to open up my task manager cause it is the only way I found to get out of the game. When I do that it skips the cutscene, now I checked my settings and the volumes of "Effects" and "Voices" were on max... Pls fix :(

welcome to the forum :)

hm, you could try (backing up) and deleting the two ini files from ...\Documents\My Games\Skyrim
the game will recreate them on launch.
Yes, the cutscenes are louder than the normal game, however there are only four of them in the game, two in the beginning and two at the end of the game. You will survive it. You can lower the volume on your headphones / boxes or in the Windows sound mananger for the executable tes5.exe for the duration of the cutscenes if it is really that bad. You can't lower the volume with the ingame settings since those are external files.
As I already answered in earlier complains about the loudness of cutscenes: Maybe we will redo them one day, but creating these is a lot of work.

I see, well that is truly a shame since it really is unbearable, I guess I will have to just turn off my speakers for a few mins next time there is one.
As I said, you can just turn down the volume of your speakers, no need to turn them off ^^
