Hello,I have installed the mod. A small pop up comes up saying I need to update. I try to update in the installer and it says I am up to date.I am stuck there. Back and forth. Thx

have you already downloaded the initial Update after the installation? Or weren't you able to?

I have had the installer for a while now. When finished installing the mod there were 4 updates that downloaded and successfully installed. When trying to open the game to play, a small pop up says I must update first. When I update,it says I am up to date. Thx for your reply. I did not download a separate update out side the installer though,only updated by using the "update" button.

Okay, which version is displayed in the top left corner of the launcher? If it is "1.1.8.1 | A57", do the following:
Close the launcher and open up this file with a text editor like Notepad++:
C:\program files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim\EnderalLauncher\system\config\conf.sur
Find the line sCurrentVersion

If it displays

Code Select all

sCurrentVersion=1.1.8.1

change it to something like

Code Select all

sCurrentVersion=1.1.0.0

Save the file, run the launcher, close the launcher again. Open up the file in the editor again and change back to 1.1.8.1 and you should be good to go.

If that does not work change the value to 1.1.0.0, save and run the launcher again, and download the updates again.

Got it thx great mod!! I have not played Skyrim in years. Have 225 hours in.And I could not stop playing the mod. Great!
