As soon as I installed that last patch, a number of (Skyrim) items that I got through the console can no longer be obtained. Was this by accident, or was that done on purpose? And if it was by accident, will this be fixed soon? I love the game, but like to play it my way, which now is no longer possible.
This is kind of strange. Also, after the last patch was installed, I kept getting crashes when I exited the game (save game, quit to desk top, warning screen pops up telling me Skyrim has stopped working). I tested it again this morning, but after the 5th time, it stopped crashing and just exited the game as it does normally.

If it is a daedric item then yes it was removed on purpose for performance and stability optimizations. Here's a helpful thread on the subject.
