I encountered this during the quest with the Box of the Dead, just after finishing the Pyrean memory and waking up next to the servant. When I tried to speak to him there was just the one option (something like "What - How did I get here?"). When I tried to select that option nothing would happen and no steps I took changed that.

I've encountered similar behavior during other dialogues with NPCs but I was usually able to work around it, e.g. leave the conversation and come back to it in order to get the dialogue to work finally. It appears to be more pronounced when there is only a single dialogue option rather than multiple.

Thanks for all the hard work on this mod, I'm enjoying the crap out of it.

I've been having the same issue, not for anything specific, but constantly having this and am unsure what I can do about it. It happens when there's 1 or 2 options for me. I can press E, enter, or left click and it just doesn't work. I remember sometimes eventually making it work but I forgot how.

I can happen that a dialogue topic bugs out because of "hellos" of the NPCs, but this should not happen constantly.
Do you have any active mods?

Yes, but I only am using Convenient Horses, Jaxonz Renamer, A Matter Of Time, and a "wait no heal" (Enderal specific) mod. None of these should affect anything since they're at least mostly neutral. Just now during Feud Between Brothers, it happened to Ulvar, not allowing me to advance in the quest and am unsure about what I can do.

All your mods could interfere with the dialogue system. Check if it is a bug caused by them.

Apparently there seems to be a bug with the health generation during the dialogues with Ulvar. This was never really reproducible. Talk with him if the timer in the right top corner is expired.

It appears that exiting the application and then relaunching it seems to resolve it in the short-term. I initially posted this because I wasn't sure how prevalent it might be and wanted to see if there was a workaround others might be aware of.

I am not using any mods other than what is packaged with Enderal initially.
