My character can't and won't move
I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled but to no avail is there any fix at all, iv'e found none so far

UPDATE:
just tested if a controller would work and it does so there is definitely a problem with keyboard.
is there a fix as i would much prefer to use keyboard

can't even get passed character creation now as well need keyboard

Check if you have any mods installed. (Enderal Launcher -> Data files)
If yes uncheck them and save the changes.
Close the launcher and the game. Remove the following file.
C:\program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\Interface\controls\pc\controlmap.txt
Start the game. It will be newly generated.
If yes uncheck them and save the changes.

Yeah I have exactly the same problem and Tilliboy's solution didn't work. I don't have any mods installed, and my keyboard works fine on skyrim alone.
Uninstall the Enderal completely (not archiving!) via the launcher. Clean the Skyrim folder by hand. Install Skyrim via Steam. Verify it's game cache: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -QEUH-3335
Then run it to see if it works. If yes quit. If not you have done something wrong with the Skyrim installation.
