I'm really sorry if this has been asked before, but I did quick search and couldn't find anything on this matter.
I would like to know if there is a way for the player character to chose not to join the Holy Order. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to progress the story,you must join the Order.On the other hand,you may chose to just wander around,exploring,killing things and collecting loot forever.

Well, I wish I had an alternate way to progress. A shame indeed.
