Problem with The Voice From the Water

So I went back in the late game to do this quest. And I came across a bug at the very end. I go to the mayor and choose to tell him a lie, but when the dialogue completes the quest log doesn't update. And when I restart the conversation I get the choice again, I chose to tell the truth, thinking it was a bug with that option. Same thing happens, so I turn off the game for the night, thinking it'd probably get better with a reboot. It didn't, I'll move on for now until someone gives me a solution.

Problem with Like Newly Born

I found all of the notes, reading them as I found them. And finally I got all 7, but the quest never updates. I seem to have completed it, I can't find anything else significant in the area. I moved on a while ago, and the quest is just sitting in my log.

Questions about The Art of Combat

How do you complete this quest? There is no explanation, just a vague goal.

Re Art of Combat - this "quest" is completed when you obtain an "affinity" to replace your basic class.

In the farthest area (where there are some elementals and the edge of the cliff), there are 2 paths upward that meet. Below that is a pond, and his body is there.

I can't find the body there. Maybe it's because I missed one of the notes at first and he never spawned. Thanks anyway, I'm just going to move on in the story.

If you have collected all 7 pages an apothekarii should appear at the end of the area. Do you have a savegame for us? We want to test and see it ourselves.
Savegames can be found here: documents\mygames\skyrim\saves
A savegame consists of two files: one .skse and one .ess (please zip them together)
