Ok, so my problem is my PC doesn't have an internet connect, my laptop does but it can't run skyrim. so I downloaded Enderal launcher & zip file on my laptop & transfered them to PC. So far so good.
The installation went fine until the update stage, I couldn't update so I couldn't start the game. I did some research & found I could launch the game with SKSE & bypass the update. The problem now is when the game starts up I get an error that Skyrim esm is missing and it's true. There is no Skyrim esm file in the data folder & I checked the Enderal zip & it's not there either.
So now to the questions:
1. Can Enderal be played without completing the update?
2. Did I just get a faulty download? Should the data file in the zip have a Skyrim esm file?
For the record I have done several installs, I'm using a clean Skyrim install, it's a legit Steam copy but Steam is in offline mode so I can't verify the file integrity. I really want to play Enderal, so please please help!

Some day there will be an offline Patch.
