Just had a quick run around the Sun Coast, and something hit me - The wolves are named "Coastal Deerstalkers," but I haven't seen a single deer that wasn't a pre-placed corpse, and even those are very rare. I might like to see more fauna in the future, for the sake of realism.

Thanks.

Now that you mention it, I don't remember having seen any deer in Enderal at all. There may have been some, but if so, in much smaller numbers than in Skyrim. Interestingly, the deer part of their name is missing in the german version.
I've seen deer in the Sun Coast, if you take the path that starts SE of Riverville on the east bank of the river and goes to the peninsula where there is a wild mage tower. I've also seen many deer in the Heartlands and the northern snowy areas, the Golden Forest. Quite a lot, actually.
You're right, badge - I took a quick TCL stroll through there and did find a few deer, and other fauna too. Interesting that it grew more densely populated with fauna the further near the Western Cliff I got.

I mentioned in the Sun Coast wiki page that there's not a lot of things for fauna to survive on in that region - It's practically all rock and undergrowth over there. Guess I hit upon more reasonable an answer than I thought I did =P
