I had the EXACT SAME error message with the corrupted mesh.
It occured with any of the English installation packs. I then installed the German version and everything works fine.
Which is really weird because I have the English Skyrim version installed...

I did not install Skyrim via Steam.
The problem occured with any of the English installation packs. I made several clean install, I have no mods, installed in different folders, tried crashfix mods, still the same error message showing up at the load screen when starting a new game.
I just installed the German version and everything works fine now.

Maybe you guys should try the German version so maybe we find out what causes the problem.

Check size and verify checksum (the English version of Enderal):
