Probably a strange question but occasionally I have run across books that confer an extra learning point and/or a memory point.

Is there a merchant anywhere in the game where such book or just extra learning points can be purchased?

I'm at level 73 or 74 now and only have two places left to visit before I have to enter the main quest. As the old song goes--"I've been everywhere man, I've been everywhere."

I have plenty of gold but no learning points left. And I'd like to be closer to lvl 80 before I meet Calia.

I think that's good! I myself have reached about level 85 (?) in my previous two complete runs.
The highest I read here was just over Level 100 .
But you will still get enough learning points in the main quest
The main quest was originally designed for about level 40

Yeah, just memory points for the skill tree stones. I don't think I ever ran into anyone selling learning points.

no, not even those.
there are some dialogues ingame with a [knowledge] tag,
there is a quest surrounding them.
(oh, thank god, there's a wiki entry, I suck at explaining )

I think the memory points (for the stones/perks) and the learning points (for skills) can't be bought.

edit:
there's a pretty old Lootguide that shows where the books are located, if you're interested.
the "skill books"-tab at the bottom, both are called "learning book..."

Is there a list somewhere of what knowledge points a player has already accumulated? Some of those quests listed on the wiki I don't recognize even though I have always followed the dialogue to get more knowledge.
