Enderal installer won't install.
After I click "install enderal" it takes me to the next menu where I select "enderal installation file" but after I click that the "next" button is grayed and it won't let me proceed. How do fix this.
Here's where I'm stuck:

How do I fix this so that I can click "next?"

welcome to the forum
did you run the launcher a admin?
and could you attach the Launcher.log from Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\EnderalLauncher\system\log?
thanks

Did you already download the file EnderalInstall_en.gz?
Do you have the file: EnderalInstall_en.gz in the right directory: \Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim?
Otherwise, please select the source with this button [...]

Yes, Stefanie is right with this one. You have to choose the directory where you have put your installation package via the button with 3 points on it. Or you have to place the installation package in the displayed directory.

Here's what comes up if I click the three dots button:

The thing is, when I click "open" nothing ever happens.
You misunderstood something. What you need to install Enderal is the file EnderalInstall_en.gz (which is a compressed file).
You can download it for example via a torrent download (you will need a tool like yTorrent -freeware-).
We recommend the torrent download because most works best.
Where you store this file basically does not matter. You can enter or change this manually in the launcher.
You just added the link to the torrent download (these are small .torrent files). So the launcher does not find the .gz file.
Maybe you look again here in the installation guide.
There is also a link to the Youtube Video from Gopher who shows how it works

If you do not like the torrent downloader:
Alternative downloads can also be found at https://enderal.com/?lang=en
These are then not checked and could therefore be incomplete.
Therefore Torrent was recommended.
And:
The right file is more than 8GB in size, not just a few KB.
