I'm trying to update Enderal for the first time, so I can play it. It gets stuck on "Update 1.2.3.1". The update downloads fine, but when it installs, it keeps rising in percentage endlessly. I let it go until it reached around 3000/8. I searched around, and there isn't even any mention of this update, only the one before it.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I really want to play this, but it keeps telling me that I need to update Enderal.

Welcome to the forum :)

You can try to start the update process again.

-Close the Enderal launcher.
- you might have a write protection on your Skyrim directory - disable it.
-Run a text editor like Notepad++.
-Open up your conf.sur with the text editor.
-The file is located in your game directory ...\Skyrim\EnderalLauncher\system\config\conf.sur.
-Edit the line sCurrentVersion=x.x.x.x to sCurrentVersion=1.1.0.0 and save the file.
-Run the launcher as admin and install the patches again.
Thank you for the welcome, and the reply!

I've tired everything on the list, apart from the write protection. I did some searching, and I can't seem to figure out where to go or how to do that. Sorry if this should be obvious.
Right-click the skyrim folder: In C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam \ steamapps \ common
Then click Properties. A small window will open.
Disable write-protection at the bottom. Click Apply.
