Unless healed to full healh, the red health bar will remain on screen permanently, rather than fade away like the stamina/mana bars. Can this be tweaked so the health bar fades also without having to heal to full health each time?

there should be a "transparency" option somewhere in the options menu;
other than that... :?:

take a look at iHUD.
you can toogle the HUD at will and it's (in my experience) completely compatible with Enderal :)
