So I just installed the game (also have already deleted and reinstalled) and whether i start a new game or load my latest save once i get to Rocio's Ship the npc says his first line; something along the lines of "be quiet don't want anyone to hear us" and then I'm stuck and nothing progresses any further. I'm able to pan the camera around but cant activate anything nor talk to the npc. I'm able to open the start menu and hero menu but not the inventory. Also i notcied even though the first quest said it was completed, in my journal im still on the first quest and the quest for Rocio's Ship hasn't started. If someone has a save file right after this or a solution to my problem please let me know ASAP! Thank you very much.

Also I'll attach my save files if that will help at all.

please upload the skse file as well
pack it into a zip/rar archive, the forum doesn't recognize it otherwise.

Uninstall/diabled all mods and start a new game. Does the problem persist?

I have mods installed but the problem persists even with removing all mods and starting a new game. I also uninstalled and reinstalled enderal already with no changes

Yes this was the first thing I tried.

This sounds like an installation problem, because I can play through it when I start a new game. So, have you tried to redownload the installation package or have you only tried to install from the same package or maybe even from a backed up installation which was faulty?

I reinstalled from the same package but not a backup. Ive found a fix though. Not the best but I opened console and used the command "setstage mqp02 15" to advance to the next part of the quest. I haven't had any problems since doing this.

That's not an actual fix. Neither have we found the source for the problem. You might get problems further one.
