I must have pressed a button to have my horse trot instead of canter, how do I switch back to normal running?

wouldn't that be the normal walking/running key?
(at last on german keyboards usually caps-lock, otherwise depending on your preference)

I think it is more like Immersive horses where you have a hotkey that sets the normal running to trotting

I have no experience with horses in Enderal, so I don't know if that is even a feature

hm, do you have any mods installed?
I mean, you probably tried remounting the horse, sprinting, reloading,
and just wildly pressing all possible keys in some random order...

because otherwise I'm out of ideas.



you could attach a manual savegame (no auto- or quicksave), found in
Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves
two files, *.skse and*.ess, which need to be packed as rar or zip archive
