I have just installed Enderal, and am trying to update to the newest version. I followed Gopher's video to the letter, and am now running into a problem with the updater. It doesn't actually progress, instead counting up in numbers again and again. I have tried closing and beginning the update anew, but that doesn't work.

Does anyone else have this problem? What can I do to fix it?

I gave the offered help a try, by changing to config to both 1.1.0.0 and 1.0.0.0, to no effect. I also tried deleting the update files and redownloading them again, as listed in the download help, but that hasn't worked either. Is there something else I can try?

Then there is a write protection issue with your game directory. Make sure to run everything as admin and to set the launcher on your anti-virus program/windows defender/firewall as whitelisted.
