I just read about the bug introduced by patch 1.1.3.5 that affects your money....I have not attempted the recommended solution of using the console commands. I am knew to console commands can anyone shed some light on the exact syntax to use to 'cleanse' the money supply? What happens if I have banked my money in Ark? Do I need to withdraw all of my money and then cleanse it?
Thanks for the help.....

The bug was introduced in 1.1.5.1, and was fixed a day after the patch. Still I would recommend to use the console.
The bug should have only affected the pennies which were in your inventory.
The key to open the console depends on your keyboard layout.
Then type in the commands that I have posted in the news.
thanks for the quick response, it is appreciated.
In regards to the fix that you previously posted, is the item "f" below a symbol for the pennies? Sorry for this newbie question but I am unsure if I need to insert the actual symbol for pennies or if "f" will suffice......
Are the upper case words case sensitive or can they be entered in lower case......
Is the number '40000' (in the example shown below) the quantity of item "f"?
Best regards....Truth

If you have saved your game with 1.1.5.1, the gold coins you carried were infected by a buggy script (causing, e.g. crashes or freezes). To fix them, use the console commands
player.removeitem f 40000
(as often as you need to get rid of all gold) and then
player.additem f [whatever number of gold you've lost]
Our apologies for the massive inconveniences.[/color]
"f" is just like a "short code" for the pennies and "40000" is the amount of pennies that will be removed from your inventory.

Let's assume you have 19781 pennies in your inventory:
player.removeitem f 19781
Then press enter and type in the next line:
player.additem f 19781
It will remove and add the amount you'll type in. But usually you can't go over 40000.
