Edit: reason I ask is installation appears unstable & CTD when eat iceclaw & also after completing quest for man who needs rat nests cleared out. Talk to him and CTD every time. : (

I tried to install Nehrim this evening and failed because when I tried to update it showed all three servers offline. If it weren't for this post I'd assume that I just picked a bad time and that I should try again tomorrow, but seeing this thread I wonder if the servers have been down for a longer time and/or there is a problem with the launcher. If there's an ongoing issue, I'll just uninstall for now and return to the game later.

Yeah, the Nehrim servers are offline, but the Nehrim Launcher does not need to update. All needed data is packed in your downloaded patch installation package.

So the English install guide stickied in this forum is incorrect, and I don't need to update the 1.5.0.8 version I downloaded from ModDB? Easy solution if I understand you correctly! Thanks much.
