When I launcher Enderal from the launcher, it loads Enderal screens and music, but once I load a saved game, it loads Skyrim not Enderal. Instead of picking up where I left off in Enderal, I'm all of a sudden in the tavern in Riverwood, as a naked guy, not sure how that happened. I do have the launcher on auto-update. The only thing I can think of is perhaps the recent updates to skyrim or workshop items has messed something up? I don't know. Given you are the experts here, I defer to your knowledge and would appreciate your help.

The Enderal installation will be broken if you update Skyrim (Which "recent" update did you download? There were no updates for a very long time.) or if you verify the game cache.
Uninstall Enderal completely via the Launcher (Do not archive it!).
Skyrim will be restored. Verify the Integrity of Skyrim's game cache. Install Enderal again from the installation package with the Launcher.

hmm im not sure then cuz my steam skyrim keeps updating like all the time (like today for example) and doesnt say workshop like everything else does. plus according to my subscribed items in workshop it shouldnt be the workshop, because the last update to one of those was August. i will reinstall Enderal from scratch as you said.

Just deactivate the Steam Cloud for your Skyrim.

Finally got a chance to reinstall Enderal and play it. It worked! Thanks for helping me out!
