I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to report this in, but the enderal launcher.exe found in my ~\steamapps\common\skyrim\ shows up as malware when Norton Power Eraser is run on the same system. The file shows up as a shortcut, marked bad, with the suggestion to remove.
The reason I discovered this was that my cable provider, Time Warner, sent a warning email about potential botnet activity on my network and urged me to check connected devices with one or more of their choice malware scanners. No other "bad" software was found with it or with McAfee Stinger or with Windows Defender (the latter two not even identifying the launcher as a problem file). I'm sure enderal launcher is fine, but heads up to the developers or others who might have run into this problem.

Security software is snake oil. It can enhances your protection and at the same time creates vulnerability - selling customer experience.
In case of the Enderal Launcher most reports are false positives.

Oh, I agree that this is most likely a false positive. I'm on my third playthrough of Enderal. This game is phenomenal. My point in posting this was to hopefully let the devs know this is showing up as a (likely) false positive in one malware removal program and to warn Time Warner customers that this could be the cause of receiving a botnet warning email (the followup to which can be TW suspending one's internet service). Maybe I'm wrong. I'll test by installing on the laptop and Win10 tablet tomorrow to see if this shows up as a positive on both to be sure.
