Wondering if anybody else had no sound when starting the game (in the menu, in the game)? Is there a known fix? I start a new game, get dropped in a field and I don't hear a sound.

I have the same problem. Tried to reinstall both Enderal and Skyrim but with no result.
Mods could interfere. But I'm guessing that you have a corrupted installation package.
I recommend to uninstall Enderal via Launcher and reinstall Skyrim. Verify Skyrim's game cache after that. Download the newest launcher and a fresh installation package (torrent is recommended).
