So, I think I stumbled upon a bug, but not 100% tried doing the Quest Brotherhood of the Kor a bit too early and had to backtrack after getting slaughtered by the dead girls a few times, so a few levels later I decide to give it another go and go back to the Myrad Keeper in Ark, but, well, I have the option to ask about the island and he does give me his lines, but never takes me there again.

So, either I need to figure out how to re trigger the teleport there, get some sort of teleport scroll or console command to get me there or something....
As it stands I can't really finish this quest.

You can actually swim there, it just takes a while to reach the island. It is south and a little east of Duneville.

If the "dead girls" gave you a rough time, don't even think of taking on the spider (the very large spider) you will find in one of the cabins

Well, I used a paralytic poison to stun it, grab the letter and like Sir Robin did once upon a time "Bravely run Away"

Though how the hell that spider got in there in the first place, boggles the mind (unless somebody used a pokeball?)

Am I to take it that the swim is the ONLY way to get back if you back out from the first ride?

That sucks. Does sound like a bug. You can still find the island though, but it takes a lot of swimming. Maybe someone can give you the teleport coordinates? Make sure you have scrolls to teleport to elsewhere or that you leave a Mark spell in the mainland.

That spider BITES ass.

I took her down. I had my winter cloak spell going, giving it damage and then just blew a Tier 2 Shock Nova on its face as soon as I stepped in. I just went all out at it, making use of its stun and was able to kill it.

I swam back, but only because I felt like exploring a bit and look for any minor secret island on the way. Use a teleport scroll, to be quick.
