Just like in title? Do I have to do all the quests (except for companions quest)and exploring before finishing main quest or can I just finish the greatest story ever and then explore rest of the world?
Simple answer: no. In this case end means end.
Thanks. What about "point of no return"? I want to make sure I make hard save before I finish so I could go back and explore some more.
At some point of the main quest you will get a dialogue box that informs you that proceeding in the mainquest will lead to the final events of the game. It's hard to miss, so you shouldn't have any trouble to finish your sidequests and exploring first if you want to do so.
