When playing Enderal, i have found that two mods specifically help speed up load times and performance in game:
Enderal Optimized Textures & Enderal 60fps Interface. Combat is much more smooth unless of course i get a lot of guys on the screen like in some of the final quests, then i have to change my game play because i get a lot of lag that throws off my game.
Both are available on the nexus. Search for enderal and under skyrim
PS. i also installed the skyui bug fix even though i don't know any bugs with it. Just to be sure.
