Getting in there isn't much of a problem, you can squeeze yourself through the grid. Unfortunately there is no way out of there but using tlc. I had the feeling it was meant as some sort of trap for greedy adventurers, but likely it is just an oversight by the level-designer. Perhaps using the telekinesis spell would be a good idea.
