So I can't seem to get any gamepad to work with this, and every one I've tried worked fine with vanilla Skyrim. I made sure to enable gamepads from the launcher, and also tried disabling and re-enabling them from the ingame settings menu. No luck.
I also get the same error every time I start the game (although the game does still start). Uploading a pic of the error plus my log file.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm not having any luck getting my Gamepad recognized either. It's a Steam Controller, and I am launching from Big Picture Mode, and the Steam Overlay does work, but it's not recognizing a Gamepad. Not getting that Windows error, however.
I don't have a Steam Controller to try. But I did try 3 completely different gamepads, a standard Xbox 360 controller, an Xbox One controller and a PS4 controller with 360 driver plugin activated. No luck on any of them. I'd play with kb & mouse, but I'm sitting here with my left arm in a cast, so a gamepad is the only way I can play any games atm.
So I fixed both problems. The error was an issue between win 10 & sweetfx, just had to delete a couple files. The controller thing was from a custom x-input file that an old program I used to run to get the dualshock 4 to work with skyrim had created. I hadn't played Skyrim for a while so I completely forgot about this.
Anyway, I got it working and can now explore Enderal.
