I must open the gate through a "remote control", in front of it there is a pressure plate but when I go on the plate the gate doesn't open. I think that this is a bug but anyway how can I open the gate now?

When in doubt, press ^ (the button at the left of "1"), type tcl and hit enter. Then you will be able to walk right through the gate. But be careful, maybe you have just overlooked a step or leaving something behind that gate untouched is in some way essential for another quest that might get broken.

I don't think that this dungeon is linked to any quest or at least I hope so.

There is a switch. Look carefully in the small "honeycomb" rooms.
