ok, thx again, i got the thorium from iron fire halls at lvl 30 since the funny master of mountain monastery send me in that area after all. I finally made my desired bow and it's a killa (dmg 82) compared to my previous bow (enachanted star bow, dmg +-52), but one more question: how did you managed to get those crazy dmg numbers +100? I've agility 115 and makrsman 112. Is there any other stats to improve the dmg? or are you counting the dmg of arrows also?
Strange thing, indeed. I found no mathematical algorithm concerning bow damage. But my own character certainly has less than agility 70 and even marksman skill is below 100 and though I have dmg 120 or so for the frost bow. Maybe strength does matter? Or, another thought: The better your crafting skills are, the better the item you forge is (I do not think so but I don't know for sure). If someone has more information on that topic, I'm also interested.

i don't thing it's because of crafting, coz you have to have max to make thorium bar. Maybe lvl? or even that strenght, i'll check it after i increase that one.
Edit: Now, that's strange: I just fired that bow few times and now it says dmg 102! if i reload the save made just after i crafted that bow, it says 82. weird... I thought about the engine including the arrow's dmg after you fire it but my arrows don't say dmg 20, but 17 (silver), Iľl try to fire with some stronger arrrows, see whats what.
Edit2: it's not about arrows, it's about its conditon. i got 102 after i repaired it to 125 from 100 which it had originally when crafted. 20 points bonus is a nasty thing!

Yes, when you have crafting/armorer skill at 75 and can repair items to 125%, it also raises the damage of weapons to 125%. And then, as your level increases, so does the weapon damage!
