After about 3 hours playing game crashes

The game keeps crashing. No matter what save i go back from, it crashes at exactly the same game time. If I go into the menus before it happens i can stay perpetually in them without it crashing.

I've tried:
Changing settings
Patching EXE with 4gb patch (then reverting back before doing anything else)

I am on the quest where you meet two guys, one who thinks he can hear a scratching boar and another who thinks there is a dam being built downriver.

Please help. I'm trying to play this game, but it is impossible. I can't get any further.

It should crash within about 30 seconds.

On my system it isn't crashing, so it is possibly caused by mods... if this doesn't help, you can try to reinstall Nehrim.

I installed Streamline and it seems to be fine now. Not sure what was fixed.

I am having the exact same problem, literally identical as it is in the same exact place. I was hoping you could tell me what streamline is and perhaps point me in the direction of finding it. Sadly streamline is a rather common word and google was not very successful at finding anything related to nehrim.

Streamline is a performance-improving Oblivion mod, of which only the 2.1 version appears to work properly with Nehrim.
You could test, if one of the versions is solving your problem:

Thanks! I will try it out tonight when I get home and the edit this post with my success/failure story.

Edit:

I made sure I was using the most recent version and I tried using streamline 2.1 which actually made it so the game could not even load. If I turn off streamline it will load but crash instantly. Just strange because I made it to this point with no trouble at all.

I had a race mod Terise/Terimer installed tried to make it work in Nehrim, I narrowed it down to that mod causing the crashes so I uninstalled it and fixed the problem.
