I am past the statue portion of the quest (as in I placed them correctly and triggered the next stage), but I'm still trying to get out of the temple. I am in the room with the Templar Armor, the floor pressure plate in front of the armor, and the switch on the wall under the skull (I have acquired the armor).
There is an iron gate in the north-west of the room which, when I try to open it, displays the message that it is opened remotely. I have already stepped on the pressure plate and tried activating the the switch (says it's not ready), but those don't seem to do anything for the iron gate. I've also gone back as far as I can and searched for another switch, but am not finding anything. I can't go forward & I can't go back. I'm about ready to try using the console to get past the gate, but am afraid of breaking the quest. Can anyone give me a clue as to where the switch is? I've been searching for the last hour and am completely stumped.
