Hello all,
I'm sure this is not the first time a missing textures problem has been posted however I have looked around a bit and I cannot find a thread with exactly my conditions. I have parts of problems you could say.
Firstly, Blood appears purple and square, and whenever I hit a creature the surrounding area turns purple.
Secondly I find that the land is covered in purple spots of varying size and distance between them.
Thirdly, In the mine that the player starts the game in, I found a ''tavern'', The walls were all pitch black.. Said ''tavern'' looked like somthing from Oblivions Bravil.
Any help regarding this matter would be appreciated. Thank you...

Did you start with a clean oblivion install or did you have some mods?
No, I had a reasonably large amount of mods beforehand, I had other problems beforehand regarding textures [purple torches, black tables, etc]but I resolved all of those [except the ones mentioned above] by copying my oblivion texture folder into nehrim's data.
A clean reinstall would do the trick, I think. BSA alteration and Nehrim don't mix.

Completely uninstall Nehrim and Oblivion and install all anew (Oblivion, Patch 1.2.0416, Nehrim, Patch 1.1.1.1).
I know somebody who has Nehrim running perfectly on their computer, Would it be possible that taking a copy of their data folder and overwriting my own would fix my problems? Or would bad things happen?
Yes, this should work.
Well then, I'll try that....
under video settings, what's your texture file size set to? if it's too low that may cause similar issues, or so i hear. if it's not set to high or whatever try uping it.
