Been playing Nehrim for a couple of weeks now and never had any problem with the voice audio. Just recently I loaded my save game and noticed that the voice audio is gone. I reinstalled Oblvion and Nehrim(with latest patch) but nothing seems to work.

Hi.

Not one of the techies - but,

Is the rest of audio on your os ok? i.e can you play music,films with audio.
Have you installed any audio/software lately which might have altered defaul drivers thats used?
Check in game audio settings.
New launcher has sound option, try both software and hardware settings.

Have you a prior savegame to try? is there sound?

None of the above! I'm stumped.
Hope you get it working and/or get more help.

I've messed around a bit with my audio settings and changed the acceleration in the audio tab from hardware to software.
=>Problem solved
