Hello,

Firstly, im truly amazed by the mod, and im so willing to try it out. but i have a ''cannot start a new game'' problem, i would not create a new topic, but i am so lost, dont know how to fix it actually.

I installed Oblivion to D:/Games/Oblivion
Patched it.
Installed Nehrim EN to D:/Games/Oblivion Nehrim
Did everything in Nehrim launcher (updated, activated only nehrim files (they are the only ones i see btw) and customised settings)
cant start a new game.
used some manuals on the SureAI forums (like copying oblivion files to nehrim folder, used oblivion launcher, disabled UAC etc etc)
And i still cannot start a new game?!?!?!?

i have thing i dont trust in my machine, like:
i have only 700mb free space on disk C, but i dont think this should be a problem.

PLEASE help me out here guyz, im so lost here :/

I had the same problem as you, but solved it - thanks to you. Thanks for the suggestion about the Nehrimloader - as it wasn't in my desktop I didn't know it existed. So I clicked on Datafiles and selected the 3 unselected options, and it worked.

Prior to that I had tried deleting my Oblivion.INI, and disabling all addons with the OblivionModManager - as detailed in the readme.
Perhaps you could try those 2 things ?

I have to say that the Patch installer is very flaky - Whatever folder I told it to install into, it claimed there was no Oblivion.exe in there - as a test I even told it to install into the main Oblivion folder just to prove that the installer was being stupid !

I hope someone helps you out and solves your problem.

Hi.

That is not much space!! Expandiong files, such as Internet cache, temp files, hib files, page files would soon mess you up.

You have not said what os your using, what Oblivion version (steam or normal).
I would try uninstalling Nehrim completely, ensure after uninstall you have at least 6gb. Then reinstall to i.e C:\Nehrim.

EDIT: if you need any help freeing some space up, just ask or google. Other fixes for lack of space, try and find/have a 8gb usb stick or external drive.
