I have newly installed Oblivion onto my new Win7 (64) PC and ensured it has the latest patch (full GOTY edition).
I have DL'd Nehrim and followed all instructions, including installing both Oblivion and Nehrim directly onto the C drive (C:/Bethesda/Oblivion and C:/Nehrim)
All goes well until I look at the data files in the launcher and find that there are only three; the two required ones and one that is labelled English.esp. Also when I try to upgrade to the latest patch, the patch is downloaded but will not install, A message says this is not the correct path for oblivion.exe.
What Have I done incorrectly? I cannot see any other instructions in the read-me file.
Cheers
Jim

I assume you downloaded the patch via launcher? You have granted the launcher admin rights and aktivated the 2 required files and the English.esp?
You could try the manual patch, see if that one works better.

I downloaded the 1.6GB file from fileplanet, I think. Only the small, 69mb, patch was downloaded from the launcher.
When I originally clicked on the desktop icon, that was created by running the main file, a message appeared stating that it could not find oblivion.exe but would try to find it . It identified the correct file and I fixed the icon to it.However, the launcher is not finding the correct path to the .exe whichis why, I suppose only the three required files show up in the data files.

I'm having the exact same problem.
Start the installer with admin rights, maybe?
I was having this same issue. I copied the update installer into the Nehrim folder on the c: drive (C:\Nehrim) and it worked with no issue.
