While playing Nehrim, there is a quest where you have to erase a guards memory and sneak into his house. During the breaking and entering phase you are confronted with a thief named Narel. The implied objective is to chase Narel, from what I've read, to some sewers, however for me, he just stops under a bridge/archway.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and i'm really curious as to how I should go about fixing this.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have replied in the bugtracker, too.
Have you loaded an autosave during the chase for Narel? Because this is exactly how someone else got your bug. Unfortunately, if this is the case, then we can't help you (autosave-related bugs are due to the Oblivion engine and unfixable by modders), but you can load a previous savegame.
Ohhh yes, I did load the auto save.
When I walked out the door to start chasing him, it auto saved, and then told me he had escaped and I had to choose a point to load from.
Thinking it would be easiest I chose to load from that point. Before doing that however, I did quick save right before I exited the house and it kept giving me the message "You let him escape" or something along those lines and making me reload from a former point.

I have reloaded from a much earlier state though, and this time around I'm going to proper save before I walk in the house, then if I am presented with the "you let him get away" message, I think i'm going to try the console command "tql" and see if that bypasses it or something.

I'll come back and let you know how it turns out.

Immediately? Have you waited too long inside the house?
This could be another bug...
Immediately after I had entered the house I heard Narel start scrambling and then he would run down stairs and talk to me and continue his normal dialogged. immediately after(no waiting, IMMEDIATELY after) I would exit the house and it would tell me I had failed the quest, in which I would have to load from some point. This may be where the previous bug had stemmed from. Anyhow, in order to bypass it, I entered the house and immediately exited before he talked to me. When Narel exited the house he had the same dialect as he usually does and the the quest continued as it usually does.

If you need any info let me know, I still have a save from the bugged area, I'd be happy to provide additional details.
Please post the bugged save. I absolutely cannot reproduce the bugs from my savegame.
